Voice Bot Integration

FlowCaptain works with any voice bot platform that supports either MCP (Model Context Protocol) or REST API calls. The two most common platforms are Retell AI and VAPI, but the API is platform-agnostic.

Integration Methods

MCP (Recommended) — Your voice bot connects to FlowCaptain's MCP endpoint and automatically discovers all available tools (check availability, book, cancel, reschedule). No manual tool configuration needed.

REST API — Call individual endpoints directly via Custom Functions or HTTP actions. More control, but requires manual setup for each action.

Supported Platforms

  • Retell AI — MCP Nodes or Custom Functions
  • VAPI — MCP tool integration
  • Any platform — That supports HTTP/REST calls or MCP

Quick Start

  1. Generate an API key in your FlowCaptain dashboard
  2. Choose your platform and follow the setup guide below
  3. Configure your voice bot's prompt for natural conversation
